The Downes And Sons Garage Approach

A Family Business

Since William “Bill” Downes first opened the doors to the garage in 1937 we have been based in the heart of Castlebar on Spencer Street. The garage was taken over by his son Henry Downes in 1966 who continued Bill’s passion for automotive vehicles. Henry’s son, Bill’s grandson Gabriel is a third generation mechanic and current owner of Downes and Sons and continues the tradition of his father and grandfather
